We want to extend an enthusiastic welcome to our senior high school students for the 2005-2006 school year. Our faculty and staff are committed to excellence in education supporting our goal of being the best educational center in the country. It is our hope you will have a positive and rewarding experience at RMEC!

The instructional programs are developed around the student's choice of a career goal, which we call "Academies". Each Academy has specific programs of study, or strands, which prepare students for college, post-secondary education, and/or employment in the chosen career area.

The High School opened with 9th and 10th and will be adding a new 9th grade for the 04-05 school year. RMEC students are recruited from Flagler Street south to Florida City. Each applicant is required to submit an application to be considered for acceptance. Criteria for acceptance includes good academic standing, attendance, conduct, and effort, as well as a strong commitment to the program of their choice.
